Insect monitoring is an integral part of any integrated pest management program. Traps and monitoring devices can provide an early warning in the event of a potential infestation, allowing for a rapid, precise and targeted intervention.
The Bioprox model of this trap is derived from the original model developed by INRA (now INRAE), at the Zoology Station of Bordeaux. This trap allows the use of attractive capsules under optimal conditions of effectiveness for various crop pest species. It is easy to use, with assembly instructions printed on the bottom of the trap and can be reused for several years — but only for capturing the same type of pest.
It is used with sticky inserts.

The FUNNEL trap is designed to capture pests of various species. The specific pheromone capsule is placed in the small basket, attracting insects into the trap. This allows for the counting of captured insects. The trap can be used either with a wetting water solution or with a sticky band adapted to the shape of the bucket.
This trap can be reused for several consecutive years after cleaning — always for capturing the same type of pest.

The yellow sticky plates attract most parasitic insects. The yellow colour is optimized to capture the maximum number of harmful insects while reducing the attraction of beneficial ones. The chromatic frequencies of yellow used do not attract bees, for example.
This trap is particularly effective for greenhouse crops.
